Lisa Boisvert partners with executive teams to optimize the results of their process improvement, strategic planning and organizational transformation work. Since founding Business Centered Learning, LLC in 1999, she has worked with a wide variety of industries and businesses, including health care, power generation, banking, data analytics, food production, vaccine manufacturing, PLM software development, philanthropy, and fast-food franchising. She is author of the book, Reflections on Hoshin Planning: Guidance for Leaders and Practitioners, CRC Press.
Boisvert’s service delivery model is designed to build self-sufficiency in her client organizations, building knowledge and skills in high-performers who can carry the results of successful interventions forward over time. She sometimes works on her own with executives and implementation teams, and when needing to scale brings together a team of experts from her network to join her in providing services. In both cases, the goal is to leave the organization more able than when she began supporting them.
Prior to forming Business Centered Learning™, LLC, Boisvert served as general manager for the training and consulting division of GOAL/QPC, publisher of The Memory Jogger II and the white paper “Strategic Planning Using Hoshin Kanri.” Earlier, as the company’s research director, she facilitated the collective work of leaders from around the world in the application of Process Improvement and Hoshin Planning to manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services industries. Her time with these early practitioners, progressive executives, and quality experts like W. Edwards Deming and Yoji Akao continues to inform her work today.
Boisvert served as Adjunct Faculty for Boston University’s Graduate Certificate Program in Project Management, delivering top-rated classroom instruction in project management and quality improvement.
